Welcome to Kindness Krewe. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Kindness Krewe mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Kindness Krewe is provided to help you remember people, track meaningful dates, and organize thoughtful writing prompts and reminders.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the App's operation or other users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the App with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Data and Content

You are responsible for the information you enter into the App, including people details, notes, reminders, and backup files.

You retain ownership of your data. Kindness Krewe does not claim ownership of your personal notes or contact information.

4. Permissions and Device Features

The App may request access to device features such as Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Photos, Files, and local device authentication (for example, Face ID or similar security features).

These permissions are optional and are used to support features you choose to use. You can manage or revoke permissions through your device settings.

5. Backups and Sharing

The App may allow you to export and restore backup files. You are responsible for where backup files are stored or shared and for protecting any backup content.

Kindness Krewe is not responsible for loss, disclosure, or misuse of backup files after you export or share them.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may rely on third-party tools, libraries, and device services, and may include links to external websites or storefronts.

Kindness Krewe is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. No Warranty

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kindness Krewe and its owners, operators, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the App.

9. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

When Terms change, we will update the effective date. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your principal place of operation, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
